Powered Exoskeleton Race

In this race, pilots with complete thoracic or lumbar spinal cord injury can complete using an exoskeleton. This wearable, powered support enables them to walk and master other everyday tasks.

Only pilots with complete paralysis of the legs resulting from spinal cord injuries are eligible to participate.

​

The tasks in the Powered Exoskeleton Race reflect everyday activities such as getting up from a sofa and overcoming obstacles such as stairs, ramps or slopes. Navigation in confined spaces such as doorways or between furniture are further challenges
